Carolyn Heffelfinger

Carolyn Heffelfinger is an Ohio-based oil painter whose work captures the quiet power of the natural landscape. With a Fine Arts degree from Kent State University and seven years as a commercial illustrator, she brings both trained precision and intuitive sensitivity to every canvas.

Her paintings range from intimate plein air studies to large-scale studio works on canvas, board, and aluminium. Whether depicting the tangled understory of an Appalachian hollow or the glow of headlights on a rain-slicked road, her compositions reward close looking and slow observation.

Now based in Delaware, Ohio, Carolyn continues to paint, exhibit, and serve on the board of the Delaware Cultural Arts Center.
